Orlando Magic

One of the most exciting young teams/cores in the NBA. The main question for Orlando, is do they have enough pieces? Does Orlando need to add anyone else? Do they need to add another young guard? Do they need to add an All-Star caliber player? Or is the duo of Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, along with the combination and development of Anthony Black, Jett Howard, Jalen Suggs, and Markelle Fultz enough? The health of Jonathan Issac? cCan Orlando sit and wait to let guys develop and potentially become one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference over the next few years. Or does Orlando need to add a more veteran piece/an All-Star level piece? Specifically in the backcourt. The talent is certainly there, but do they all fit together? Do they need to add one or two more players to their group?
Detroit Pistons

My biggest question is do they have THE guys? What I mean by that, is how many foundational guys do they truly have on the roster? I'm bullish on Cade Cunningham and believe he's in store for a breakout season. Coming off the injury is my only concern with him, and if he's healthy and ready to go. To me, he's one of the best young guards. I have some question about Jaden Ivy. Particularly his fit with Cade, it'll be interesting to see how the two of them mesh together. Jalen Duren is an intriguing piece and in my opinion, their best big. There's a lot of question marks. Overall, of how many guys they actually have that Detroit truly feel comfortable/confident about. Who are the guys outside of Cade Cunningham. Detroit needs to use this season to figure that out!
Indiana Pacers

The biggest question mark for Indiana is finding their foundation. Indiana has Tyrese Haliburton and a good amount of young talent on their roster. Who are the foundational guys? Who are the guys you point to and say these are the guys who Indiana are building around. Outside of Tyrese Haliburton, who are the other foundational players on this roster? Indiana will need to figure that out.
Charlotte Hornets

The question for Charlotte is how far can LaMelo Ball take them? What is the true ceiling of Charlotte with LaMelo being their best player? What is LaMelo ceiling individually as a player? Is his ceiling an borderline All-Star caliber player and be one of the best guards in the league. Outside of LaMelo, who's going to step up to become a building piece besides LaMelo? If LaMelo doesn't elevate himself into an All-NBA caliber player, then you have to start thinking what to do with the rest of the roster and what it looks like. Alongwith, thinking if LaMelo the player you truly want to build around. If he does look like an All-NBA caliber player then you have your foundational piece to build around and it makes things much easier to build around.
Washington Wizards

The Wizards needs to decide who are the keepers? Who are the players they want to keep around to try and get some value moving forward? Whether it's on the court or as trade assets. Washington brought in Jordan Poole, brought back Kyle Kuzma, and other pieces such as Bilal Coulibaly. The other big question is Jordan Poole someone the Wizards want to keep long-term. When the Wizards are looking to be more competitive in a few years will Jordan Poole still be there? Will Kyle Kuzma still be there? Who are the keepers on this roster? That is the biggest question for the Wizards.
Brooklyn Nets

The question for Brooklyn is do they use the assets from the Kevin Durant trade and who do they use it for? How does Ben Simmons look this season? Brooklyn has an intriguing core of Mikal Bridges, Nicholas Claxton, Cam Johnson, Ben Simmons, and Cam Thomas. Is there a scenerio where Brooklyn starts to look at their team and think they could win 50 to 55 games, they could make the Eastern Conference Finals if things goes right. If Brooklyn uses some of their assets to add to their team.
Chicago Bulls

The question for Chicago is it time to reset and rebuild? Which could mean trading DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, and Nikola Vucevic. Chicago are definitely in the era of transition where they are trying to figure out exactly out what the future of their team looks like. Chicago is truly in a tough situation and the biggest question mark for Chicago this season is whether or they decide to hit the reset button.
Toronto Raptors

My biggest question for Toronto is will Toronto hit the reset button and is Scottie Barnes THE guy? Is Scottie Barnes an All-NBA caliber guy moving forward in the future where you can point to and say not only is he a foundational player but he's someone you continue to shift your roster and make changes around, in order to prioritize his development. If he's not an All-NBA caliber player then his positioning in the hierarchy of Toronto organization moving forward changes dramatically. Now, if he is an All-NBA caliber player then he can be that guy and Toronto can continue to develop their roster around Scottie Barnes.
Atlanta Hawks

My question for the Atlanta Hawks is what is their ceiling? Where is Atlanta going with roster? Are they just a 45 win team if fully healthy or do they have the possibly to be a 50 plus win team if fully healthy and one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. If Atlanta figures out some of their defensive issues, if the duo of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray can mesh better together. Does Atlanta make a trade to add more star power with their duo? If Atlanta's ceiling is only a 45 win team and a first round exit then they'll be some big question marks in terms of their future outlook.
New York Knicks

What's the next step for New York? Can New York figure out a way to be conference finals contenders? New York has the assets to make big moves or are they going to be good enough with Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle leading the charge. Will RJ Barrett take a leap in his game? Can New York compete with Milwaukee and Boston? Outside of those two teams, there's a lot of uncertainty in the Eastern Conference and maybe New York could make some noise.
Miami Heat

Where does Miami go from here? After failing to acquire Damian Lillard, Miami is noticeably worse after losing Gabe Vincent and Max Strus. How does Miami try to reintegrate all their players in Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, Kyle Lowry, and Nikola Jovic to focus on being productive players for Miami after trying to trade them for months. Losing out on star players in Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal. Miami in my opinion, are the biggest losers of the offseason. It'll be interesting to see how Miami looks this season and Miami's future outlook is in question.
Cleveland Cavaliers

The question for Cleveland for me is the future of Donovan Mitchell? The future of their front-court? The future of their roster situation overall? Will Evan Mobley take the next step offensively? Even though, Cleveland had a disappointing playoff outing, their future is still one of the brightest in the NBA. In order for Cleveland to reach their fullest potential, Evan Mobley must become a much bigger offensive threat.
Philadelphia 76ers

I'll keep this simple with Philadelphia due to the arrays of ongoing issues with them. How does the James Harden situation play out? What's the future outlook with Joel Embiid? How can Philly try and savage that situation. There was a lot of turmoil in Philly over the offseason. Overall, this offseason was an absolute disaster for Philadelphia.
Boston Celtics

The future of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown together and what is their ultimate ceiling as a duo? How will Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis, and Jrue Holiday mesh together? Boston has six guys who they can trust on a daily basis, can Boston get another player or two to step up in order to have a solidified top eight rotation? Can Boston get over the hump and win a title this year?
Milwaukee Bucks

The obvious question here, is how good will Giannis and Damian Lillard be together as a duo? How will Milwaukee handle their issue regarding to their perimeter defense? Can Milwaukee win their second title in four seasons? There were question marks regarding the future of Giannis Antetokounmpo] as he showed his frustrations about the Milwaukee's future. Milwaukee responded to Giannis frustrations in a big way by acquiring Damian Lillard. Milwaukee are title contenders and it'll be interesting to see how Giannis, Damian Lillard, Khris Middleton, and Brook Lopez looks together.
